Sound Like You (Writer’s Quick Tip)

They say that every good writer has his or her own voice- that with the really good ones, you can tell who it is by reading them, even if you’re not told who’s writing.

That’s important to remember. You’re supposed to have your voice, not somebody else’s.

So the quick tip for today is to love your own writing voice, and don’t beat yourself up if you don’t sound like the voice of another writer.

You will never be as good at being them as you can be at being you.

So, be you, with all of your heart…
