After a brief mental break of a couple of days, I’m back on the book and moving right along. Second draft of new book completed and sent to my editor, except for glossary, which is still in process. (There’s not always an accurate but clear definition to be had of metaphysical concepts, so I’m needing to write mine from the ground up to end up with something that’s concise, correct and easy a reader to understand.)
At the point where my desk is overflowing with little pieces of paper with arcane and cryptic notes like “Chap 13”, “test..” and “incorp imp…” Keep debating whether its better to keep doing things and tossing the scraps, or stop and make another master list.
So doing a bit of both…
But, amongst all the scraps of paper and brainstorming and lists of things sent out/gotten back/uploaded/downloaded/sideloaded, I can gradually see progress getting made, and the book beginning to come together at last,
And that feels good.
I’ve got calluses on my typing fingers and more than a bit of eyestrain, my hair is standing slightly on end and my wastebasket runneth over, but we’re getting there.
So, how’s your writing going?
