A Writer Looks Ahead…

well, there’s still Quanzaa and then New Year’s yet to come, and then the holidays end and we move into a shiny brand new year.

And now’s the time to be thinking – what do you want to accomplish in 2013 as a writer?

If you want to get someplace in life, first you need to choose a destination. The New Year is a traditional time to start new projects, set goals and just hitch your wagon to a star in general, and you’ve got a few days here to nibble on those last few holiday goodies and contemplate where you want your writing to go.

Think about it…

Don’t set your goals too small…

and don’t worry if you haven’t always achieved every goal you’ve set in the past. The act of choosing a goal by itself moves you further in the direction of your dreams.
