Body Language (Writing Quick Tip)

Sometimes you’ll be flying right along, writing like the wind, and suddenly you slow to  a crawl. Hit a wall.

Now there’s a lot of reasons this could happen. But when it happens, one of the first things you should do is to listen to your own body.

Back on June 15, 2012 – Water, Water Everywhere (Writing Quick Tip) , I talked about dehydration and how it can stop you from being able to write to your best ability.

There’s a lot of other things that can have that effect on your writing too.

  • Not enough sleep
  • Not enough food
  • Getting sick

So if your writing suddenly drops out of its usual rhythm, stop and listen to your body- and give it what it needs.
