… and by the end of the day, if you’re on schedule, you should have around 13,336 words written.
So how are you doing?
If you’ve hit the target, good for you!
If you’ve gotten even more words written, Excellent! You are a NaNo star!
And if you’re running behind the expected word count, don’t worry. You’ve still got plenty of days to catch up and make your 50 K
There are lots of people who surge from behind to finish their word count. My first NaNo, I started on day 17 and had to take another day off for my husband’s birthday- and I still crossed the 50 K finish line a half an hour before the clock ran down. And I’ve witnessed one woman write 30 K in six hours on the last day of November.
You can do it. Just put your butt in the seat, your fingers on the keys and writewritewrite…
And you’ll get there.
