Do you have the great American novel in your head but find that you have a hard time getting started writing?
Here’s an interesting article from the Atlantic looking at why writers are the worst (or, depending on how you look at it, the best…) procrastinators.
I don’t agree with everything in this article (I think the author goes off on a “kids are spoiled these days/ you kids get off my lawn” tangent) but there’s some really interesting thoughts in it on learning, motivation, and getting going on actually writing.
