…so what are you going to do with it?
Life is a journey, and if you’re traveling but don’t know where you want to go, the odds are good that you’re not going to get there. Last post, I talked about choosing goals and making resolutions about what you want to do with your year. That’s important, because your goals are where you’re going, and if you don’t set goals, time slips away and leaves you with nothing to show for it.
Haven’t set any goals yet? How about now? Don’t worry- I’ll wait.
When you’re on a journey, you need more than a destination though. You also need a map- a plan for how you’re gonna get there. In your life’s journey, that means things to do to move you in the direction of your dreams.
If you want to get out of debt, you need to
- look at your budget
- figure out how to cut our expenses
- figure out how to make more money
- have a plan for paying down your debt.
If you want to lose weight, you need to
- look at the calories you take in
- look at the calories you burn off
- find a way to cut the one and build the other
- find an exercise plan you can stick with
and so forth
Just about every dream is attainable if you’re willing to do the work and keep moving in the direction of your dreams.
So, if you have a dream, what can you do to move in that direction?
We’re on the journey together
