Steep Learning Curve…

If you’re lucky, you don’t stop learning things until the day you die (and if you’re lucky, maybe after that.)

And heavens there are a lot of interesting things (and some not so interesting ones) that you need to learn to be effective as a self published author.

Now I’m pretty good with words, but somewhat technologically challenged, and, since there’s a fair amount of tech processes involved in self pub, there have been a number of periods of alarms, excursions, cussing and the occasional technicolor explosion at Chez Kane. I always get through it, but, lands, the learning curve is steep for me when it comes to tech.

And so, in the interest of greater tranquility and less general chaos, today I’ve made an appointment to meet with my writer friend, Morgan Daimler, to have her walk me through the process of putting my books in e-book format.

Bless you Morgan. And bless all of you too. Hopefully, pretty soon you’ll be able to download me, as well as order me through the post.

I’ll have learned a new skill- and when I do that, the day is not wasted…
