Some writers write for the sheer joy of writing, and store their work in a drawer once they’re finished.
For the rest of us, one big part of writing is that connection between writer and reader, and how to make that happen. This means that one of the big questions every writer should be asking is “So, who’s my reader?”
The answer to that question will help you throughout the writing process. It’ll help you write better and connect better with your audience. It’ll help you advertise where your readers gather. It’ll help you know where to market your book, and the kinds of activities that will better get your work into the hands of those people who’ll love it.
So, do you know? Who’s your reader?
