Back Up Warning Signals…

Doing NaNoWriMo?

Writing  a book?hands with laptop typing in night

Writing a paper or an article or a serious declaration of love to your best friend?

Well, don’t forget to back up your work

  • Make a copy
  • Save it to a flash drive
  • Save it to the cloud
  • Email yourself a copy

Do what you can to keep your work safe in more than one place, especially if it’s something you’re putting a lot of time and effort into

Computers crash. Electricty surges dump contents. Viruses eat writing alive. And tired writers press the wrong key and watch in horror as three years of work vanishes

Back up your work

And keep writing
