Continuing to Cautiously Work My Way Back- Another Update

If you’ve been following my adventures, you know that, in February, Starwolf and I through some major electronic challenges that ended up with us going through four computers and two mice in a little over two weeks.

End results? I, the technically challenged person:

  • Went from Windows XP to Windows10, with a brief uncomfortable visit in Windows 8hands with laptop typing in night
  • Went from  Word 2007 to Word 2016
  • Had to transfers my files from  computer to computer to computer and figure out where they ended up and how to find them
  • Read Windows 8 for Dummies and Windows 10 for Dummies, and marked the things I wanted to get to early on with thousands of little orange Post It flags
  • Am still wading my way through Word 2016 for Dummies (and also marking it up with little orange flags)

With all of the other things that Life has been bringing my way, the learning curve has been pretty steep around here, and there’s still plenty of projects ahead of me, but I’m pleased to announce that  I’ve gotten far enough into things that I can  get back to editing and rewrites on my next book this past weekend.
And that’s feeling pretty good right now…
How’s  your week  going?
