This Weekend, the Old Year Dies…

…and a new one is born. So what are you going to do with it?

What do you want to accomplish in 2017?

There are a lot of people who look down on New Year’s resolutions but, if you use them Vintage still life. Vintage items on ancient map.correctly, they can help us to change our lives and our world for the better. Studies (and common sense) tell us that if we don’t know where we’re going, we end up nowhere or never move from

At that point, it’s good to have ideas about what we want to do with ourselves, rather than just wait on the sofa and see what happens to us.

There’s a couple of ways to do this

You can target specific goals

  • run a marathon
  • publish a book
  • lose 10 pounds

or you can set priorities for the areas of life you want to work on

  • health
  • love
  • family

and chose activities by how they help with these areas

or combine both. There can be value to that too.

The important thing is to think about what changes or improvements you want to have in your life, so you can start to act to make them happen

So, what do you want to accomplish in 2017?
