“First Epiphany- Then the Rewrites” Revisited

Last week, I had a writing epiphany. (First, Epiphany- Then The Rewrites…)

I was driving around and thinking about the book I’m currently working on and suddenly realized that, if I rearranged the various pieces of information I was writing about, the whole book would flow better, make more sense and be a better book.

hands with laptop typing in nightYay, Epiphany!

And then I realized that doing this would be a boatload of piddly, detail oriented fiddliness….

Boo, fiddly more-work!

Well I’m pleased to say that I rolled up my sleeves, girded my loins and dove right into it this weekend, and despite one day on the road, and one day staggering around with a head fulla sinus-ness, the epiphany has been worked through;

And it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be.

A few more chapters to rough out, a few more points to insert and then I’m ready for my first editing run.

Hope your writing’s going well and that all of your epiphanies turn out for the best.
