Last week, I had an accident and hit the dresser hard with my forehead (Sometimes You Gotta Just Stop and Think…). The ensuing pain, swelling, bruising and sequestering until the edema in my eye went down enough gave me time to think. To focus. To reset my life
And I started writing again.
Well the swelling is down, the bruising gone (mostly) but I’m still working on my next book (working title “Living in Interesting Times). I’ve got the basic book structure laid out, have the first draft for three chapters written, and am continuing to move forwards in such open writing time as I can make for myself.
I guess sometimes you do need a hit in the head to make you stop and pay attention…
How’s your writing going?
